"Yeah, you."
"Up here, above your eyelids. That's right, we're your eyebrows. My partner and I would like a word with you if you don't mind. You see, we're getting a little sore from bending down all the time. You seem to be keeping us in that position a lot lately. It's like we're some sort of circus contortionists. We'd rather be upright. That's the way we were designed to be. It's more comfortable for us that way too."
"So if you don't mind, quit being so serious (which is when you seem to keep us bent down). Instead, try laughing a little bit. Lighten up. We feel the best when you laugh."
"Thanks for listening. In the meantime, try reading these couple short reads on laughter. It may help you."
"P.S. Being eyebrows, we don't get the opportunity to write blog posts very often (as you might imagine). So we want to be sure you know we owe our gratitude to Bridget Chumbley and her One Word Blog Carnival. You can read her blog HERE. If it weren't for her, we wouldn't be the first set of eyebrows in history to write a blog post! Go Bridget, Go Bridget. Go, Go, Go Bridget!!"
I read this - and I'm feeling plucked. Good post, Steve.

Mine are thick, garnering complaints from spouse. But usually up with a twinkle in the pair below. It's a God thing, "they" are inclined to say. I say, it's the Ressurrected alternative to troubled brows prevailig among the helpless and hopeless.
Really, though, this is a wonderfully light but deeply insightful blog. Would like to save this one to include in my own some day.

Picturing eyebrows pecking out a blog post made me smile so thank you, Scott. :)

Gary - too funny! Thanks for your comment. And, by all means, use whatever is helpful. God owns it all. :)
