It's best to handle our anger constructively. Instead of stinking up the whole environment around you, consider a "courtesy flush". Here are some ideas...
Go for a walk
Go into a room and close the door and pace
Pop in some driving music and put your headphones on
Exercise
Throw the frisbee with your dog
Go for a drive
Stand up and stretch
Play some basketball
...what other ideas can you add to the list?
Scott,
Too gross and funny! Thanks
Anger stinks!
I'll add that I've heard it said it's impossible to walk slowly and stay angry. Thought I'd add "slowly" to the mix.

These are great suggestions and the thought you've conjured is making me laugh. Thank for the reminder and the list. :)

When I get angry it is best for me to get away from the situation that is causing the problem.
Step Away

Dan, you're absolutely right about walking angry. And, boy, does it stink!
Jason, thank you for stopping by and commenting. It means a lot.
David, stepping away is a totally-appropriate option until the anger subsides. I run into problems when my stepping away turns into running away from the problem. Good insight, though.
