I have been reading a book entitled Strong At The Broken Places by Richard M. Cohen. It's an account of conversations with a few people each suffering with a different chronic illness and the lessons they are learning in the process. It's an unbelievably honest account as these people struggle with diseases such as non-Hotchkins Lymphoma, Crone's, Lou Gehrig's, etc.
If you are a caregiver to someone with a chronic illness, this may be just the book for you.
Incidentally, the author was diagnosed with his own illness and wrote a book prior to this one entitled, "Blindsided: Lifting a Life Above Illness: A Reluctant Memoir."
