I would venture a guess - I bet there are books (and good books they are) which once held your attention and are now collecting dust.
Rather than collect dust on the shelves, I suggest the concepts in these books collect dust from the foot path of our journey. This will require a process of weaving the concepts into the fabric of our lives.
To make this happen, I will be e-hosting a program on Facebook called "Dust To Dust". It's a temporary 4-week book club with intention. It will be a Facebook group. If you agree to join, you commit to 2 actions:
1) purchase the book of study; and
2) participate in the discussion threads.
The study will be on the book, Practicing Greatness by Reggie McNeal. We will begin Monday, June 15, 2009 (so you'll need to get the book soon). We will cover 3 chapters (enough to give you a headstart on your own personal "dust to dust" system). I will post a Discussion Thread each Monday (1 chapter per week) with questions. Week 4 will be a coaching recap to help you design a plan to weave the 3 week's of learning into your life for good. You are asked to type in your thoughts throughout the week.
Sound interesting? There's no cost to you. You can participate as much or as little as you like (but the more you do, the more you'll learn). If you're interested, then...
Bring the learning to life. Move the great principles from the dust of your shelves to the dust of your journey and you'll be Serving Strong!
