I'm new on Twitter. Here's my account, if you want to follow me:

I LOVE Twitter. Just ask my wife (and yes, I'm learning how to balance my Twit with all my other life areas). But something that happens from time to time is message that appears on my screen saying, "Twitter is over capacity." I refresh my screen and move on. But it gets a bit annoying. I have a task I want to do and it's a little interruption in the flow. Don't get me wrong.
We are like that sometimes. As people helpers, we tend to take on a lot of obligations. The trouble is - we are finite. Our time, energy, and resources do not come with an unlimited supply. Every "yes" we say has a corresponding "no" attached to it.
So the next time you feel "over capacity", stop and ask yourself how much you have committed to lately. Is it time to trim off some of the responsibilities? Is it time to brush the dust off that book on delegation? Is it time to start learning the fine art of saying "no"? Or MORE IMPORTANTLY, is it time to revisit the WHY of WHAT you do?
Keeping from reaching "over capacity" is part of Serving Strong!
