Leader At Home

Linda Lewis Griffith wrote a piece on SanLuisObispo.com about parenting.  At the end of her article, she lists a few great ideas for effective parenting.  If you are a people helper AND parent, these might be what you need:

• Act like a leader.

• Create and enforce clear policies for your household. 

• Make tough decisions even when they are not popular.

• Communicate effectively. 

• Elicit others’ input.

• Learn to negotiate.
