I subscribe to Covenant Eyes. It's an online accountability software program that monitors all my online activity. I have an accountability partner who review an activity report on a weekly basis. I do not intend to surf the internet for sites that are questionable. But I want to be extremely cautious as I do my work of blogging, internet research, and website maintenance. Having that element of accountability honors our God-given design to serve in community rather than as an island.
I HIGHLY recommend that you make the same investment. Here where you do that.
Covenant Eyes has a companion blog called Breaking Free. I have found the posts to be very informative and helpful as I navigate this online world of ours. One recent post discusses part of Daniel Lohrmann’s book, Virtual Integrity, called Seven Habits of Online Integrity.
Here's a quote from Lohrmann:
“I’d like to offer you seven habits to faithfully navigate the brave new Web, which will hopefully become regular practices in your life. One goal of this list is to establish a basic framework for individuals to surf their values. . . . These are action-oriented disciplines that strive to be “non-techie,” easy to understand, and flexible to implement based upon need.”

I will be following this list of posts as they come out. I suggest you follow along as well.
Incidentally, I have tagged this post in many of the Serving Strong blog categories intentionally. Because internet integrity touches so many of our facets of life. When we are surfing with integrity we are Serving Strong!
