Wikipedia defines Twitter as...
"...a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length. Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them."
As I understand it, if you want to follow where a person is on a frequent basis, you create a twitter account and "subscribe" to that person. Then he or she updates their whereabouts by texting "tweets" to their profile and you see where they are and what they are doing.
What if God has a Twitter account? Would you subscribe to Him? Truth is, God IS on Twitter. And He CAN be followed. He WANTS to be followed.
Rob Bell has produced a number of teaching videos. One such video, entitled "Dust", talks about following the Rabbi so closely that you gather the duct from your Rabbi. Gathering dust from our Rabbi, Jesus Christ, is central to Serving Strong!
