Passion is the fuel that burns us forward as we pursue our calling in the people-helping fields.
Todd Rhoades, author of the blog, Monday Morning Insights (MMI), posted a thought I want to pass along. He highlights a speaker at a recent conference called Catalyst, Perry Noble, who listed 4 questions to ask in keeping your passion for ministry thriving. I think it's geared more for pastors, but perhaps all of us as people helpers can benefit by asking them.
Listed below are the four questions. For more detail, visit the MMI post.
- How much time do I spend listening to God?
- Am I more concerned with being discovered or being developed?
- Am I believing any lies?
- Am I risking or am I playing it safe?
When we're always tweaking ourselves for greater passion for what we do, we are Serving Strong!
