The Difference A Slower Pace Makes

I follow an interesting blog called Floating Axhead.  Recently, they posted on the importance of slowing down to more fully experience what is in front of us at the moment.

Immorality or Immortality?

They illustrate it by missing one letter in a word while reading scripture and the letter made all the difference.  The letter "T" changed the entire context of the verse in Romans 2, verse 7:

"To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life."

See how a quick read can lead to the missing "t", thinking "immortality" reads "immorality", changing the entire way to live?
