Gary R. Collins wrote a note about the high-tech world we live in and the impact on sleep. He refers to an article in the March/April 2008 issue of the magazine put out by Psychotherapynetwork. According to the Network,
"Relentless stress in the high-tech workplace of the 21st century is taking an unprecedented toll on our emotional lives and our capacity to wind down at the end of the day."
If you are struggling to get to sleep these days, I suggest you read the article entitled, "Sleepless in America: Making It Through the Night in A Wired World." It's a long read with a few colorful words thrown in - hey! If you can't sleep, try reading the article :) But, seriously, if you really struggle with sleeplessness and don't know why, this may provide you with some helpful insight.
Sleep is crucial to serving. Without sleep, we are unable to maintain focus, persevere, recognize opportunities, serve out of our abundance, or make a lasting impact.
Take care of your sleep habits and you'll be Serving Strong!
