While sipping on my first cup of coffee earlier this morning, I reviewed a blog post by a pastor in Nebraska named Mark. He creates a good list of characteristics that make up what imbalance might look like.
Here are a few:
- Your "to do" list is roughly the size of the Empire State Building
- You feel like you're really busy, but you never seem to accomplish anything
- Your health is not as important as the things you need to do or accomplish
Every day we are faced with thousands of decisions. Take a look at the last several decisions you've made already today. Did you decide to do that task or not? Take that call or not? Schedule that meeting or not?
Now look at the list of imbalance characteristics Mark produced. Does that list describe you today? If so, what decisions led to that imbalance? What can you do now to start changing the tide back to balance?
Knowing that imbalance looks like and making wise decisions accordingly throughout the day helps to keep serving strong!
